• Clavis Energy Partners LLC was established in June 2013 as an independent advisory and consulting firm focused on global natural gas (including LNG) business and market.
• Since then, providing services to domestic gas/power companies, trading house and financial institutions, as well as overseas energy trading firms, chemical firm and financial institutions.
• In addition to services related to global natural gas, we have been engaged in advising/supporting clients exploring business opportunity in Japan power business from 2016.

30+years work experience: 10+yrs mostly in finance business (trading, corporate financing, and project financing), and 20+yrs in commodities business especially in energy such as crude oil, refined products, natural gas and power.
Spent 10+years at Japanese trading house and engaged in financial business. Next 20+years at investment banks and at an international energy company (IEC), and as an independent consultant, mainly engaged in trading/risk management/business development.
At investment banks and IEC, responsible for building and managing Japan business as well as Asia business as business lead. Country coverage included Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, and India (Have traveled to these countries).
Lived 5 years in Beirut/Lebanon as a child and a total of 3 years in the US, traded FX in NYC/NY and attended graduate school in Dallas/TX.
